今年的<速寫˙意象> 三人展，已是第三次在賽馬會創意藝術中心舉行，展覽目的旨在透過聯展，與觀眾分享素描寫生和創作的樂趣，促進與業界的交流，推廣素描寫生與研究的風氣。
三位參展者均為退休人士，退休前從事視覺藝術教育，退休後仍持續寫生交流。三人寫生均注重實地觀察與感受，從中可以促進眼手協調與視覺思考能力的培養，因此值得加強和推廣。配合素描寫生，三人所採取的表現媒介和風格均不限於固有的傳統概念，除側重單一材料或黑白元素的表現外，亦探索運用豐富的色彩、借助科技媒體、攝影及圖像加工等混合媒介與實驗性方式表現。
展品內容多圍繞生活主題，包括環境議題、都市人物、城市印象與旅遊記錄等。
This is the third exhibition organized by the three artists with the aim to share the joy of sketching with the public at JCCAC. Before retirement, they served in the art education field and have been exchanging ideas and experience in studio practice through regular sketching and exhibition activities.
In actual practice, they emphasize authentic experience through on-site viewing and sketching through which will enhance visual thinking skill and sensorimotor coordination. Moreover, in addition to monochrome approach in visualization, they also explore various media and art forms by further development of sketches, e.g. integration with different art forms and materials, recycle use of images and found materials, application of computer and photographic techniques.
The subject contents of their works include city life, environmental issues and impressions of journey trips.
