In hopes of promoting local art in the communities, the new edition of ‘The 6th Artists in the Neighbourhood Scheme’ strengthens the connection between art and local historical culture through the mutual creative process engaged by artists and the local communities, which brings art and sense of aesthetic as an indispensable parts in living.

Ping Shek Estate is an old public estate with a history dating back over 40-year. Although it may in fact look as ordinary as a stone, the estate is filled with memories of residents and their intense sense of humanity. All the warmth and affection in this estate are the most valuable things we can treasure in Hong Kong, this metropolis that is constantly developing at a rapid pace.

In this exhibition, three artists from different disciplines share the warm and affectionate stories discovered from Ping Shek Estate to construct a space full of happiness.
